Workforce Solutions provides child care subsidies to eligible families while they work, go to school, or participate in job training to become self-sufficient.


*Effective June 1, 2020 TWC lifted the waiver for parent fee, to avoid penalty parents must pay their parent fee at the 1st of the month.  Child care rules consider it a program violation if a parent does not pay their fees. 


*Starting July 20, 2020 Parents must records attendance to avoid accumulating absences for their child/children.   If parents don’t have a Child Care Automated Attendance Card (CCAA) they can request it by emailing



Texas Rising Star program - What to Look for When Selecting Quality Child Care

Health and Human Services (HHS) transformation presents an opportunity to restructure the Texas HHS system to make it more functional, efficient, effective and responsive. As this two-year transformation process unfolds, HHS agencies will be asking for input from stakeholders: the people who use health and human services, benefits and programs; people and organizations that provide services, and people and organizations that support those who use services and benefits.
