Workforce Solutions Borderplex, the non-profit organization dedicated to employment, education and economic development, announced the appointment of Mr. Bobby Blanco to the Board of Directors.
“Mr. Blanco will represent the private sector and will make a great addition to the Board,” said Joyce Wilson, CEO of Workforce Solutions Borderplex. “His work experience as a successful financial advisor will greatly benefit our organization.”
Mr. Blanco is a Partner and Director of Insurance & Estate Planning for Strategic Wealth Advisors. He earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration-Management from the University of Texas at El Paso and is a graduate of Coronado High School. He is currently or has been a board member of the following organizations: Calvary Chapel Sun City, Big Brothers Big Sisters of El Paso, March of Dimes of El Paso, State of Texas Public Affairs Committee for the March of Dimes, UTEP Alumni – College of Business Administration Alumni Chapter, El Paso Collaborative for Community & Economic Development, and the Mitzi Bond Elementary School WATCH D.O.G.S.
