The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) has dedicated $5 million to expand early childhood efforts by engaging in specified Child Care Development Fund (CCDF) Quality activities that improve the quality of child care. Private employers or corporate foundations can collaborate with Workforce Solutions to apply for funding for TWC-approved childcare quality improvement activities. To be eligible for CCIP, the donor organization must be an industry partner such as a private employer or a corporate foundation.

Matching Investments for Child Care Quality Improvement (MICCQI).
In addition to CCIP, TWC has also dedicated $25 million dollars to expand early childhood efforts by engaging in specified Child Care Development Fund (CCDF) Quality activities that improve child care quality. TWC will leverage private donations with CRRSA/ARPA funds to build and enhance Board partnerships with partners that want to support early childhood education efforts. The MICCQI program is open to a variety of donor entities such as charitable and philanthropic organizations and community-based organizations.
